original records of the town.
The names that were identified on the original version are underlined in
blue. Using the lot descriptions in
"The Original Proprietors of Hartford Connecticut" published
by the Society of the Descendants of the Founders of Hartford. I was
able to identify some of the unreadable names from the original
version. Please
note that the additions that I made are based on my interpretation of
the descriptions in the book. I can not guarantee the accuracy of
my additions.

The Descendants of the Founders of Hartford have the copy write on the re-published version of the original map. They have given Rob Buckman permission to distribute the electronic version of both the book "the Original Proprietors of Hartford Connecticut" and the Original version of the 1640 map that was on page 1 of the book. Obtained from the New England Historical Genealogy Society. Rob has graciously granted me permission to edit and post my edited version.
